World Press Photo Exhibition Auckland
From 2023 to 2026 I managed the Marketing and PR for the World Press Photo Exhibition in Auckland, which is run by the Rotary Club of Auckland to raise money for charity.
Below is a showcase of the marketing and publicity for the event for the last four years, which successfully raised money for a range of different charities.
Integrated advertising campaign
Working with a media agency we had a fully integrated advertising campaign across Auckland including billboards, street posters, print media, and radio.
Public relations
A full PR campaign was run working with our publicity partner, Elephant PR. This included organising event listings in digital and print media, media releases and pitched media.
As a result we ended up with a wide range of coverage including radio interviews and TV coverage on Seven Sharp in 2023-2024 and Ryan Bridge Live in 2026.
Social media
A full schedule of organic and paid social posts were run across Facebook and Instagram. This included free ticket giveaways to drive our social media following and awareness of the event.
Marketing collateral
A4 posters and DL leaflets were created, which were distributed by Rotary volunteers to cafes, libraries, and art galleries around Auckland.
Direct mail
A campaign of EDMs was sent out to our subscriber database along with other key target audiences we had identified.
Website
A new website was created for 2023-2026, which we increased traffic to through a Google ads campaign.
